KENNEBEC SAVINGS BANK PROMOTES LOCAL RESIDENT

 JANUARY, 2008: AUGUSTA, ME - AndrewE. Silsby, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Kennebec Savings Bank, recently announced the promotion of George W. Diplock, Jr. to Vice President & Loan Officer. Diplock is employed at the Bank’s main office on 150 State Street in Augusta.

George has been part of the Kennebec Savings Bankfamily since 1996, when he washired as Assistant Vice President & Collections Officer. Since then, George has become a model loan officer, in addition to becoming the Bank’s expert incollections and regulations related to community reinvestment.

“George’s attention to detail, commitment to our company, and genuine concern for our customers and their challenges, make him more than deserving of this promotion. Our institution’s low delinquency rate is a direct result of that commitment and we are very fortunate to have George on the KSB team.”

Diplock is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a B.A. in Business Management. He is an Augusta native, and is still very involved in community service, including Ducks Unlimited, Habitat for Humanity, and the Augusta Food Bank.
