All our CSR's will need from you is your social security number. Once we obtain that, we can then link your accounts (all or a select few) to the Bank-By-Phone system.

Using your touch tone phone, you'll be able to access your checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRA, and loan accounts. You'll be able to make transfers between statement savings, checking, personal lines of credit, and loan accounts too.

Like anything new, the first step is always the hardest, no matter what it is you're doing. We're here to make it easier.
Just follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Sign up for the service (if you haven't done so already).
- Have your account number(s) ready before dialing.
- Dial 1-888-303-7788 (call from anywhere in the U.S.A. , toll-free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
- You will be asked for to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN). The first time access each account through Bank.by.Phone, you will be asked to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number. For your safety, you will then be asked to enter a new four digit PIN by pressing 7.
- Make your menu selection by following the simple instructions in the welcome message. (Once you become familiar with the system, you may want to skip the welcome message and go directly to your Main Menu selection).

Interest-bearing checking accounts also allow you to conduct transactions
outside of the Bank, with the Bank's Debit MasterCard. This gives you
24 hour access to your account free of charge (withdrawal limit through
an ATM is a maximum of $500 per day) at any of Kennebec Savings
Bank's ATMs. This card is accepted at any ATM nationwide that
offers the NYCE or PLUS networks, and any place that accepts MasterCard
debit cards. All Debit MasterCard transactions are free of charge, no
matter where you use your card. (Note: Other banks may impose their
own ATM surcharges which you may be assessed for transactions at non-Kennebec
Savings Bank ATMs.)

Bank customers have the option of having their government checks, pension checks or payroll checks directly deposited into their savings or checking accounts. Direct deposit eliminates the possibility of stolen checks, minimizes trips to the bank and no fees.
Bank customers can transfer funds or have funds deposited into an existing account from another financial institution inside or outside the United States . Benefits of wire transfers are immediate access to transferred funds.
